The children's Harvestfest Party will be on Saturday, October 21 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Townsend Park and feature scarecrow building, children’s games, and light refreshments.
The Recreation Commission will host its annual Halloween 5K and Fun Walk on October 21. Additional information available at www.nbarc.net.
New Brighton’s Halloween Parade will be on Wednesday, October 25 at 6:30 PM. The parade will travel on Third Avenue from Sixteenth Street to Townsend Park. The 1-Mile Dash, a run on Third Avenue, will occur prior to the Parade. Register at www.nbarc.net.
Trick-or-Treat in New Brighton will be on Tuesday, October 31 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Beginning in 2018, a stormwater fee will be levied by the New Brighton Borough Sanitary Authority to ensure that the storm sewer infrastructure is well maintained and stormwater is adequately managed. The fee funds operations and maintenance of the stormwater infrastructure, administration of New Brighton Borough’s federally mandated municipal permit requirements, and engineering design and construction of capital improvements.
With State Route 65 / 18 passing through the heart of the Borough, New Brighton is the perfect place to call home for your business. Currently, over 16,409 vehicles travel through the Borough’s Central Business District daily.
