The New Brighton Area Police Department has started fundraising to begin a canine unit to better serve the community. To help reach the estimated startup cost of $45,000, the Department is selling t-shirts. Shirts can be purchased online or at the New Brighton Area Police Department on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Beaver County Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association New Brighton Farmers’ Market opened for the season on Tuesday, June 3. The Market is again located in the parking lot next to Family Dollar at 1235 Fifth Avenue and is open from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM every Tuesday until October 28.
As in years past, the Market features fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, honey, fresh-cut flowers, fully prepared meals, and bedding plants sold by local Beaver County growers and merchants.
With State Route 65 / 18 passing through the heart of the Borough, New Brighton is the perfect place to call home for your business. Currently, over 16,409 vehicles travel through the Borough’s Central Business District daily.
