Whether you were passing through, recently moved here, or have lived here for some time, we hope that your time spent in New Brighton will be enjoyable. As residents of New Brighton, we take pride in our community.
Join us in welcoming in the Christmas season with the New Brighton Community Life Committee and their annual Christmas in the Park – Brighton Lights event at Townsend Park on Saturday December 2, 2017.
The event will begin at 5:00 PM, with the official lighting of the decorations at
6:00 PM. Wreaths decorated by New Brighton Elementary School students will be on
display and auctioned off later in the evening.
Santa Claus will also be arriving after the decorations are lit. Children and families are welcome to visit with Santa during this festive occasion.
Beginning in 2018, a stormwater fee will be levied by the New Brighton Borough Sanitary Authority to ensure that the storm sewer infrastructure is well maintained and stormwater is adequately managed. The fee funds operations and maintenance of the stormwater infrastructure, administration of New Brighton Borough’s federally mandated municipal permit requirements, and engineering design and construction of capital improvements.
With State Route 65 / 18 passing through the heart of the Borough, New Brighton is the perfect place to call home for your business. Currently, over 16,409 vehicles travel through the Borough’s Central Business District daily.
